Promoter

The promoter is IXL Home Pty Ltd ABN 25 123 411 898 of 1K Marine Parade, Abbotsford VIC 3067 Australia (the Promoter).

Acceptance

By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Promotion

The promotion is called the Auckland BuildNZ Show Giveaway (the Promotion). The Promotion is a game of chance. Chance alone determines the winners.

Promotion Period

The Promotion opens at 9am NZST 15 July 2026 and closes at 3pm NZST on 16 July 2026 (the Promotion Period). The Promotion will be conducted at the Promoter’s stand at the Auckland BuildNZ Show 2026 in Auckland, New Zealand (the Show).

Eligibility

Entry is open to all New Zealand residents provided they attend the Show during the Promotion Period and otherwise comply with these terms and conditions. Entry is not open to residents of countries other than New Zealand.

Directors, officers, management, employees and contractors of the Promoter, and of any agencies, service providers or prize suppliers directly associated with the Promotion, together with their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

Entry is open only to persons aged 18 years or over.

How to Enter

To enter the Promotion, an eligible person must, during the Promotion Period, attend the Promoter’s stand at the Show, scan the QR code displayed at the stand, and complete the online registration form made available via the QR code, including answering the required qualifying questions, providing all required contact details, and nominating that they consent to be contacted by the Promoter.

Entry is free. A person does not need to make a purchase or place a pre-order in order to enter. Purchasing goods, placing a pre-order, accepting any show-only offer or discount, or otherwise transacting with the Promoter will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning.

An entry will only be valid if all required information requested by the Promoter is provided.

An entrant will receive one (1) entry for completing the online registration form in accordance with these terms and conditions, with a maximum of one (1) entry per person during the Promotion Period.

Entries that are incomplete, illegible, indecipherable, fraudulent, misleading or otherwise non-compliant with these terms and conditions may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion.

Prize Details

Prize: One (1) YETI Hard Cooler
Value: NZD $[insert value]

The prize must be taken as offered and is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, except at the Promoter's discretion or where required by law. If a prize, or any part of a prize, becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law.

Draw and Winner Selection

The draw will take place on or before 5pm AEST on 23 July 2026. The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period using [a computerised random selection process / insert other random draw method].

The Promoter may also draw reserve entries and record them in case a drawn entry is later found to be invalid or the entrant is ineligible.

Winner Notification

The winner will be notified within 7 days after the draw using the contact details provided at the time of entry, including by phone and/or email. If the Promoter elects to publish the winner's details, the name of the winner may be published on the Promoter's website or its social media platforms on or after 23 July 2026.

By entering the Promotion, each entrant consents to the Promoter using the entrant's name and suburb or postcode for the purpose of announcing the winner and administering the Promotion, to the extent permitted by law.

Prize Claim and Delivery

The winner must respond to the Promoter's notification and provide any information reasonably required to verify eligibility and arrange delivery of the prize. The prize will be delivered to the winner at a New Zealand address nominated by the winner, as determined by the Promoter.

If a prize is delivered, the Promoter is not responsible for loss, theft, delay or damage occurring in transit to the extent permitted by law. If the winner does not provide the information reasonably required for prize delivery or collection within the required period, the Promoter may treat the prize as unclaimed.

Unclaimed Prize and Redraw

If a prize remains unclaimed, or if a selected entrant is found to be ineligible or to have submitted an invalid entry, the Promoter may conduct a redraw. A prize may be treated as unclaimed if the winner does not claim the prize or make arrangements for its delivery or collection within 7 days after being notified, or within any longer period allowed by the Promoter.

Any redraw winner will be notified within 7 days after the redraw using the contact details provided at entry.

Personal Information

In order to administer the Promotion, the Promoter will collect personal information from entrants. This may include the entrant's name, phone number, email address, postcode, company name and job title, collected through the Promoter's online registration form, lead capture systems, and associated hardware and software applications used at the Show.

The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with its privacy policy, available at www.ixlhome.com.au/privacy-policy. Entrants may request access to, or correction of, their personal information in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy and applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ), to the extent applicable.

The Promoter collects, holds and uses personal information for the purposes of:

  1. (a)administering the Promotion;
  2. (b)verifying entrant identity and eligibility;
  3. (c)contacting entrants and winners;
  4. (d)delivering prizes;
  5. (e)maintaining business records; and
  6. (f)where the entrant has consented to be contacted, adding entrants to the Promoter's mailing list and sending marketing or promotional communications about the Promoter's products, services, offers and events by email, SMS and other electronic means, to the extent permitted by law.

By entering the Promotion and nominating that they consent to be contacted, each entrant consents to receiving marketing and promotional communications from the Promoter. Entrants may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe facility in the communication or by contacting the Promoter using the details in the Promoter's Privacy Policy.

Verification and Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants, including by requesting proof of identity, proof of New Zealand residency, proof of attendance at the Show, and any other information reasonably required to verify compliance with these terms and conditions.

The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:

  1. (a)breaches these terms and conditions;
  2. (b)tampers with the entry process;
  3. (c)submits an invalid, misleading or fraudulent entry; or
  4. (d)engages in conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion.

Errors and omissions may be accepted or rejected by the Promoter acting reasonably.

Technical Issues and Conduct of Promotion

The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or misdirected entries due to technical disruption, network congestion, equipment malfunction, human error or any other reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.

If the Promotion cannot be conducted as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, including because of technical failure, unauthorised intervention, fraud or other disruption, the Promoter may, to the extent permitted by law, modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, or disqualify affected entries or entrants, as appropriate.

Liability

Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, including any consumer guarantee, under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ), the Fair Trading Act 1986 (NZ), or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Subject to that position, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion or any prize, including as a result of incorrect or inaccurate information, technical malfunction, unauthorised intervention, theft or alteration of entries, cancellation or postponement of the event, or the use of a prize, except to the extent caused by the Promoter's negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct or otherwise as required by law.

If a prize includes or consists of goods or services supplied by a third party, that prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant third-party supplier or manufacturer, which may include expiry dates, validity periods, activation requirements, redemption procedures, usage restrictions, warranties, repair or replacement processes and other limitations. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third party, or for any loss, damage, defect, fault, delay, restriction, cancellation, unavailability or failure relating to any prize supplied by a third party.

General

The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding, subject to applicable law. A failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be read down to the extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
